Martin Zahlbruckner is Chief Executive Officer at delfort since March 2006. His professional career started in 1989 at the Institute for European Law, Johannes Kepler University in Linz/Austria. From 1995 to 1997 he was responsible for Legal and M&A at Trierenberg Holding in Traun, Austria. In 1997 he was appointed Managing Director or OP papìrna, s.r.o., Czech Republic. From 2000 till 2006 Martin held the position of CFO of Trierenberg Holding, including the business responsibility for the Graphical Business and Pressure Sensitive Industry.
Martin holds a Ph.D. in Law from Johannes Kepler University in Linz/Austria and followed executive management courses at St. Gallen (Switzerland), IMD Lausanne and Columbia University to name a few. Further, he is Chairman of the Association of Austrian Paper Industry as well as a Board Member of CEPI and serves as member of Supervisory Boards in Financial Institutions.
Since 2023 Mr. Tillman is working as Senior Consultant at ECOL Studio
Consulting AB. The main work area is providing consultancy and training
services on Sustainability and Sustainable development in the Pulp,
Paper&Board sector.
During 2019-2022 Mr. Tillman worked at RDM Group (Reno de Medici)
as Chief Innovation & Sustainability Officer responsible also for
Technical Customer Service and Risk Management, based at the Head
Office in Milano, Italy
Before joining RDM Mr. Tillman worked at IKEA of Sweden for six years
in the position of Project Leader in both Packaging Development as well
as in Wood Supply&Forestry at the Head Office in Älmhult, Sweden.
Starting in 1990 Mr. Tillman successfully spent more than 20 years in
the Pulp&Paper Industry holding positions in R&D, Production,
Operations as well as Head Office Management positions in the areas of
Sustainability, Energy, Environment, Health&Safety and Risk
Management for SCA, SCA Packaging and DS Smith. 12 years were
spent at the SCA Packaging Head Office in Brussels also representing
the company in trade associations, e.g CEPI and Fefco.
Mr. Tillman, born in 1965, is of Swedish nationality and has a
background of Chemical Engineering at the Lund Institute of Technology
and Pulp&Paper Technology at the Royal Institute of Technology in
Stockholm, Sweden.
Sappi, a leading global provider of sustainable woodfibre products and solutions, appointed Berry Wiersum as Chief Executive Officer of Sappi Europe S.A. on 15 January 2007. Berry retired as CEO in March 2021 and is currently Head of Regulatory Affairs for Sappi Europe.
Mr Wiersum started his career at ICI Fibres, held the position of President of Amoco Fabrics (Europe) followed by President of Amoco Chemicals (Europe). Following the takeover by BP, he joined BP to assist with the integration of the two groups in Europe. He then joined Pechiney SA in France and ran the CEBAL packaging division until he was recruited as Managing Director of the Packaging Division of Kappa Packaging BV (The Netherlands) and member of the Management Board responsible for paper manufacture and packaging in the Kappa group. Mr Wiersum was Chairman of CEPI (Confederation of European Paper Industries) from 2009 – 2011. In 2017 he was named RISI's European CEO of the year and International CEO of the year at the PPI awards.

Mr. Tuomas Mustonen is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Paptic Ltd, a Finnish growth company focusing on sustainable flexible packaging materials and addressing climate change and promoting circularity. With Mustonen’s lead, Paptic Ltd has grown from a bio-innovation start-up to a recognized solution-provider with its wood-fibre based, flexible and fully recyclable packaging materials in over 40 countries.
Prior to establishing Paptic Ltd in 2015, Mr. Mustonen has worked as Vice President, Sales at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, and has a wide background from the fibre-based packaging industry in several business development and managerial roles. He is specialized in conceptualizing and commercializing new biobased material technologies with special focus on packaging applications. Mr. Mustonen has an MBA degree from the Aalto University, Finland and Master of Science degree in Paper Physics from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
